Arbiter in Kepong Junior Tournament

I was in charge of the under - 8 section.I was surprised that a senior coach
was shouting at me from outside the window not to mention the parents who
are so eager to give a few tips to their children who probably are taking part
for the first time.

The Senior coach should know better that outside interference is strictly
prohibited.Parents can be forgiven for them being excited over their
children's games.

After a couple of warnings given by me some still keep interfering.
I hope parents will set a good example for their children in future
tournaments.

Chess coaches should make sure the children have some basic knowledge
before advising them to take part.
I notice some children who do not even know the basic rules and some
even trying to cheat.

Some basic rules not practised:

1)Capturing the King - claiming a win?!
2)Stalemate - claiming a win?!
3)Making illegal moves repeatedly not realising 3x loses!

I hope my observation helps in coming tournaments.

Thanks
